1036 – Faberge Excellence

“Fabergé”:  the name says it all.  Often imitated, but never equaled, this jeweler to the House of Romanov gained lasting fame creating the fabulous Fabergé eggs for the royalty of Russia.  Each egg that was created for the Tsar to gift to his wife at Easter contained a surprise inside that legend claims not even the Tsar was made privy to.  The eggs were made of precious metals, and enamel, and studded with the highest quality gemstones.  This splendid creation in marbleized green and gold is a fitting tribute to the mastery of Karl Fabergé.  The execution of the numerous insignias, including the French Fleur de Lis, and the Imperial seal of the Romanov dynasty certainly lives up to the moniker “Fabergé Excellence.”  Sparkling rhinestones add glamour to the three green tiers, offset by two supporting columns in gold.  A graceful drape of gold “satin” embellishes the lowermost tier; the egg resting on the top is meticulously decorated with intricate gold braid, studded with precious stones, and crowned with golden eagle.  This study in opulence will be the crowning glory at any event:  birthday, anniversary, or wedding.
